Emma uncovers taken-for-granted assumptions about human experience and transforms them into meaningful opportunities to create new forms of value.

As VP of Insights at Idea Couture, Emma leads a global team of social scientists in decoding the social and cultural processes through which experience is made meaningful; she then designs projects and programs that link these insights to a variety of innovation challenges. Working with clients that include FedEx, Mattel, Fisher-Price, LG, Nestlé, TD Canada Trust, Scotiabank, SickKids, Diageo, Union Station, and others, Emma guides the team in transforming their insights into strategic initiatives that are grounded in human experience.

Emma holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Toronto.
